BOATING
Excellent all-weather and all-tides ramps for boat launching and retrieval are provided at Port Welshpool and Port Albert.  Good launching ramps are also available at McLoughlins Beach and Manns Beach, although difficulties may be experienced in adverse weather or low tide. Beach launching for dingies and small boats is possible at Robertsons Beach. Boat-based camping is provided for at several localities.

FISHING
Shore-based fishing depends heavily on land access.  The most popular spots are at jetties at Port Welshpool, Port Albert, Robertsons Beach, Manns Beach, and McLoughlins Beach. Surf fishing is excellent in the channels at Woodside Beach and Reeves Beach, which are good access points to the Ninety Mile Beach.
